Basically I have 2 devices my ipad and iphone backing up. When the camera roll is on it puts me over 5gig.

I only have 250 pics, and i reckon its adding my old 3gs pics too.
Can anyone help to resolve this?

If the images are on your phone or iPad then they'll get backed up to iCloud. You need to look in your photo app.

I understand that but 251 photos shouldnt be like 2 gig. I think an old backup of my 3gs may still be on icloud. But I cant see a way to delete it?

I understand what you mean now. On you iPhone or iPad:

Settings - iCloud - Storage & Backup - Manage Storage

At the top of this panel you'll see which devices are backed up and you can go into them, see what's in the backup and delete it as required
