I have to buy several iPads for my business. We are doing a job and the reporting system is all being done via iPads. I am unsure of the best way to deal with the syncing of the iPads. I have to maintain control over the purchasing of apps and need to be able to use the find my iphone app on all of them but i would like to let the users use them for music and videos if they wish. Is there any way to do this?

I was thinking of creating a single apple id to use for all of the iPads but the end users will need the passwords and if they have the password then its easy enough for them to turn off find my iphone and have one conveniently get lost.

secondly (less important if not possible) is there ny way for them to add their private music/playlists? or would they all HAVE to be synced off the same pc

The "all one account" idea is probably not a good solution.

Perhaps this will help, the Apple Configurator:

Apple - Support - iPhone - Enterprise
