If so, the answer is yes the iPhone 4s supports a 'Personal Hotspot' - you can connect up to 5 devices ...... However your network provider/contract has to support it. As an example, my iPhone 4 supports personal hotspot, but my carrier (Fido, in Canada) only allows it if my data plan is 1GB or more.

I'm on Three in the UK - £35 gets you unlimited data (including tethering - and calls and texts)

Verizon and AT&T in the US both have tethering options, it's usually an extra $40/month I think.
