iPod wifi connection

Hi,
Can anyone give an idea, how can i create application which can accept message send from windows machine.

Application is running on iPod(connection through wifi) which accepts message from other application running on windows machine(connection through Ethernet) . and iPod application can send back the echo message to windows application.

Both iPod and Windows machine are on same network

Can you please help for the same. It's really urgent for me.

Do you need to create an application?

Or could you just use one of the many AIM or MSN Messenger apps on the app store?

Hi,
I need to create new application on iPod.
On windows i have one sample application ready, when i can configure Ip adress of ipod and try to send message to iPod.
