I'm getting a my bf an ipad for xmas. I know the ipad has some great apps for pilots to use, I just don't know the names of them. If anyone can help, that'd be great. Thanks!

Hi,

There is an iPhone app that automatically logs your flight time and counts your landings using GPS and the stall speed of your plane. In-flight, it also shows you the ground speed. You get TFT and block time. At the end of the flight, you have to copy over the times into your old logbook, the app only helps you in knowing what they were. The app is called Flight Time: http://www.stanek.us/FlightTime
