My Ipod touch 4g tethered with redsn0w (4.3.3) will not reboot.
The battery died while I was away, so naturally I went to the computer to tether boot it. Which is all fine and dandy,
but right before reboots, the ipod disconnects and the computer won't recognized it.
When i press the home button it simply gives me the low battery sign again.

I tried entering dfu mode to restore it but right before its about to restore, again the ipod disconnects. I've tried Ireb, TinyUmberella. But always right before its about to be fixed, it disconnects.
I really hope someone can help me. Thanks

Leave it plugged in and leave it be so it has time to charge.

Uhm okay. Then what do you suggest I do.
No matter how long I charge it, it gives me that low battery sign.
Would it be better if I entered dfu mode then left it?

Hmmmmm. Well my gut instinct here is that your battery is dead. Seems a bit premature though. Try a different cable to charge, on a different USB port or wall charger. Hopefully it's that simple. Worst case scenario is some other hardware fault on the circuit board.

That is unfortunate. I'll try all of those.
Thanks for your help.
