I would like to be able to delete books and pdfs off of my ipad and when i sync it, they delete off of my itunes. Now, when I delete them off my ipad, they get synched back on when I sync the ipad. Thanks

Just go into itunes and uncheck sync books...

but i want to sync the books. I just want to be able to delete a book on my ipad and then when I sync the ipad next time, I want the book to delete from the itunes library, not go back on to my ipad.

Ok but understand that the point of the "library" is to keep your media in so if you want to delete it from it you will have to do that in it...If you just want it off your phone then just uncheck that selection...then if you want it go completely just delete from computer..

It sure seems like there should be a shorter way but without being in front of my Mac i just cant think of any...
