Hi,
You should be able to manage this all within Itunes on either your PC or Mac. Any music that is on your ipod touch should also be in your music library so when you configure your Iphone you can select what music you want on the phone. I am pretty sure that when you plug your Ipod touch into ITunes you have the option to restore to factory setting (which will delete all the data), I could be wrong but that functionality definately exists when you plug in other apple devices (such as Iphone). I'm not sure how you would get music onto an Ipod without first having Itunes installed (unless maybe via a friends pc or mac), but if not then you would need to download it to your PC or Mac, when you plug in your ipod for the first time it should sync all the music that is stored onto it. |
