Switching From One Apple ID To Another HELP!!

I Have Been Using My Fathers Apple ID Account For About 3 Years, In That Time I Have Downloaded Many Apps. My Problem Is That Now I Am Leaving Home I Think It Is Only Right That I Set Up My Own Apple ID. My Question Is This, Will I Have To ReDownload All My Apps Again With The New Account To Obtain Any Future Updates? This Will Obviously Result In A Cost :/ If There Is Anyway To Get My App Updates On My New Account Please Let Me Know, If Not Please Let Me Know So I Can Just Go Ahead And Buy Them All Again  Also My Game Centre Achievements Will, Obviously Be Lost Aswell Correct?
