I connect an iPhone to my MBA using a USB cable. ITunes syncs with no problems. However, the iPhoto app on the MBA does not see the iPhone. I have reset the phone. Photo on the iPhone works OK.

Any ideas as to why?

If I do the same thing with my iPad 2 iPhoto sees the iPad and its photos.

Update -- I found that by changing the iPhoto Preferences to start iPhone when a camera is connected so now my iPhone mounts.

However, it only shows what is in the iPhone Camera Roll. Is there anyway to make the IPhone Photo Library visible since that appears to be what ITunes is syncing.

iMac, MacBook AIR (mid 2011), iPad 3, iPhone 4
