If you ask siri if it's a boy or girl, it'll say "I was not assigned a gender.", but if you ask it to tell you a story, it has a chance of telling you the story of how siri came to work for apple, in which it refers to itself as "her".

Well, Siri is a man in the UK, and won't tell me a story. He just keeps saying I've heard it before.
If I change my settings to US English, Siri changes to a woman's voice.
