iPad 2 going round in circles.
When I select to upgrade my iPad2 to iOS 5 it backs up and then restores to factory condition and then restores everything back to where it started with the old iOS still installed and no mention iOS5?

    What am I doing wrong?

    Specs:
    27" iMac i7 (2011) 10.11, Mac Mini i5 (2014), iPhone6s, Apple Watch, iPad Air 2, New AppleTV (4?)
Are you able to use it with iOS5 prior to the restore of your back up?
Not been around these parts for a while. Trying to change that . .

Thank for your response. I finally got it to upgrade to iOS 5 and all is now well.
