Headphone malfunction with iOS 5

After updating to iOS 5, my music will only play through the iPhone speakers. When I plug in headphones, the song "plays" but I cannot hear any sound. Any ideas?

Hey,

I am facing the exact same issue as you have described. I have a IPOD 3g, and, its headphones have stopped working after I upgraded to IOS 5.

Did you manage to solve this problem?
