    iPhone Message Alert Tones
Is it possible to assign different tones to different email accounts. Example tone A to work related mail and Tone C to private emails.

    3.4 Ghz i7 27 in iMac (2012), 3.4 Ghz i7 MacBook Pro (2015), iPad Pro (2014), iPhone 6+
Sadly, no. Maybe if you JB, but I'm not sure. Looks like it will be a new feature in iOS 5 though, so hang in there.

Actually there are 2 apps that allow this.

Mailtones: MailTones - Email Alerts and Sounds for iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad on the iTunes App Store

you have to forward a copy of the message to their server so they know you have new mail.

eNotify: eNotify for iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad on the iTunes App Store

No forwarding but you have to provide the app with your email password. (This one has more tones, as well as the ability to add new ones via file sharing, but has to be running in the background all the time or it won't work)

With both of these you turn off the mail app tones (unless you want both notifications)
