    why on earth can the home screen not display
    I hate the way you need to jailbreak it to add a app so that the days appointments etc can be seen without having to open calender

    Best thing Berries do. The iphone4 needs to be a more serious tool

    I don't know if you were aware of this, but Apple hasn't stopped working on features for iOS. In fact, we should be hearing about a new version on Monday.

    PS. My appointments are set as alarms and so they do in fact notify me of upcoming events by appearing on my lock screen and even buzzing the iPhone -- at an interval before the event that I chose when I set up the alarms. You can even set multiple alarms for the same event.
