new mail icon

Member Since: Feb 16, 2010 Posts: 5	04-06-2011, 01:45 PM my blackberry used to show an asterisk when I had new mail; and removed the asterisk once I saw the new mail (I did not have to open it). The new mail notification in iphone won't go away unless I actually open each new mail. How do I change this?
