If you bought the iPhone straight from O2 then it will be locked to only using their network. The only option would be to look into Jailbreak/ Unlock.

Yes, all european (GSM) iPhones you've bought outright will work with AT&T (calls and 3G data) and T-Mobile (calls & slower EDGE data).
However if you got your iPhone on a contract, you can't just swap the SIM unfortunately. You could either pay roaming costs (expensive) or just stick to making voice calls and use wifi wherever possible. |
