Help! This is the third forum that i visit. I hope can get answers from here.
I synced my iphone4 to a window PC before i get a mac recently. So, when i try to sync my iphone 4 to mac. I was told that "the iphone cannot be synced. You do not have the privilege to make changes". 1. i clicked store> authorize this computer. =failed. 2. restart mac. =failed. 3. reinstalled itunes. = failed. 4. restored iphone4. =failed. Then, I do logged in as admin. I changed all the related folders' sharing/permissions to "read & write" for admin, me and everyone. Then, i checked the permission, enclosed to all folders. But still cannot be snyced for the music and photos. |

You restored the phone on the Mac and the restore failed or the restore worked but you still can't sync? Changed permission on what folders - where? Is this a jailbroken iPhone? What Mac do you have, what version of OS X and what version of iTunes? Have you authorized iTunes on your Mac? I cannot be held responsible for the things that come out of my mouth. In the Windows world, most everything folks don't understand is called a virus. Place your vote for our Member of the Month |
