    iPhone download - new MacBook Pro
    Hi,

    Sorry if this is in the wrong section or has been covered, but I am sick or reading inconclusive stuff on the net.

    Just got a new MacBook Pro (17" i5, wooop) and have an iPhone 3GS.

    My old MBP is dead, and the data can't be transferred across.

    Is there any recommended, tried and tested software out there so I can completely rip my sync data from my iPhone to my new MBP.

    I don't mind paying for it, as I want it to work.

    Cheers in advance,

    </ben>

    Hi Ben,

    Have a look at this link here: Backup iPhone to New Computer
    Got some useful information on there and should help
    Hope it does anyway

    The info at the top that is, not the program unless you have windows on bootcamp or virtualisation.

    Ideally, I'd like to sync back everything;

    Music
    Contacts
    Messages
    Photos

    If it's possible...

    Ridiculous on Apples part if it's not... People are screwed if they want to buy a new desktop or notebook...
