Assigning Categories to PDFs in iBooks on iPad

I'm posting this as I had trouble finding a quick answer.

To be able to group PDFs by Categories in iBooks on the iPad, you need to set the Genre field for the PDF in iTunes... just like setting a Genre for a music file.

Once you do this, all the related PDFs should synch to the iPad and the relevant categories will show up in iBooks.
