hey everyone who might read this
so i am currently running 4.0 on an itouch 3g and i used jailbrakeme.com to jailbrake (dont know if that matters) but i want to upgrade to 4.1 and re-jailbrake later normaly i wouldnt care about doing this but i do have a few paid apps from cydia and apps that store data that i do not want to lose how can i backup these apps? thanks! and if this is in the wrong place can a mod please move it |

First.. in Cydia make sure your shsh blob is SAVED.
proof of such is the green text in the image below. ![]() Now... to your question... in Cydia install an app by the name of AptBackup. Once installed, go into AptBackup, and press "BACKUP". Now Sync with iTunes, so that iTunes makes a backup of your device. In AptBackup are the simple directions get all your jailbreak apps back once you Jailbreak 4.1 ***the jailbreak for 4.1 is not yet released, but should be very soon*** |
