Hi friends. I have a jailbroken 3GS, with 3.1.2 and 05.11.07 firmware.

I want to buy an iRig but requires 3.1.3. As I see, if I upgrade to 3.1.3 I will loose my jailbreak.

Any ideas ?

Thaks a lot.

Uh, no. You'll have to RE-jailbreak it, but that's not a big deal.

I'm running a *2G* on 3.1.3, so I know this can be done. I have no idea what an iRig is but you can certainly upgrade to 3.1.3 using something like Pwnage.

Sure ? If you check this "http://www.quickpwn.com/2010/02/jailbreak-iphone-3-1-3.html" you can see that THERE IS NO WAY OF UNLOCKING, CRACKING, UNBLOCKING, SIM-UNLOCKING, JAILBREAKING an Iphone on Firmware 3.1.3..

That´s why I do not want to upgrade from 3.1.2 but I NEED IT so that I can use my iRig.

Any other help ? Thanks

As I say, I am running 3.1.3 on a 2G, so I'm afraid reality trumps whatever quickpwn has to say.

But don't take my word for it:

You have a point there. So what should I do next ?

Spirit says "Do not upgrade if you use an unlock on an iPhone 3G or 3GS"

I am very confused. Pls clarify. Thanks

You can try AmpKit AgilePartners - AmpKit - it works on 3.0, and (in my highly biased opinion) is a much better program
