Just got an iphone 4, When I get a new text message it shows a "1" beside the message icon like its suppose to.

Once I go in and read the message, get out of messaging, there is still a "1" beside the message icon.

The only way i've found to get rid of it is to delete the message, or go into multitask menu and "exit" out of messaging. Then if I go back into messaging and out again, the "1" disappears..

any advice? I feel like its a multitasking problem..

THanks,
Neil

Several people at work and myself have been having this problem. Only way I have managed to solve it is when a new message is received it sorts it self out.

Submit a bug report to apple here http://bugreport.apple.com more people that do sooner it will be fixed
