Sorry if this is in the wrong forum, feel free to move it if there is a 'troubleshooting' area I don't know about. Hopefully someone will be able to help me.
I backed up my phone, then installed the new iOS4, but now my phone has reverted to its factory state (no contacts, etc). It shows up in iTunes when it's connected, but when I click 'Restore,' it asks to restore it to FACTORY settings. How do I restore it to a backup instead of factory? |

When the iPhone plugged in and visible in iTunes, right-click the iPhone icon on the left side of the iTunes window and choose Restore from Backup.
