API to read iPod Touch

Hi all

I want to develop an application for an iPod Touch, but it is not detecting as a drive on my mac machine, Is there any API in carbon to detect iPod Touch and its information.

Hello neha!

Although I do not have personal experience with creating apps for iPhone OS, one would speculate that apple provides all the needed software for that themselves, so you don't have to rely on 3rd party apps.

Register as a developer on their dev page and download iPhone SDK 3.2, that should help you in achieving your goal:
