I recently got a new iphone and attempted to sync it to my itunes however whatever happened seemed to wipe my entire itunes content. I then plugged in my ipod (which still had the content on it) to see if i could sync it but a dialogue box appeared saying the ipod was registered to another itunes library. I am praying that the other itunes has all of my music etc in it but I cannot find it on my mac. Can someone help?

When you originally synced your iPhone did you sync it with the same notebook/desktop? If you did then it could have failed backing up, you can mess about in iTunes preferences to find backup data and see if it saved properly. Hope this helps.
