purchase music on authorized comp, transfer to iphone?

At my office, I have my itunes authorized to use my apple account. I just purchased an album on itunes on my work machine. How can I transfer it to my iphone here at home? Do I have to have the iphone sync'd with the library? I was hoping there was a transfer purchases option to get stuff off the computer ONTO the iphone, much like you can transfer purchases off of the ipod/iphone onto your computer.
