I am having difficulty getting my iPods synced with in a home sharing environment.
Hardware: MacBook Pro running OSX 10.5.8 and iTunes 9.0.2 Windows XP SP3 - iTunes 9.0.2.25 Computers are seeing each other on the network. I have imported 700+ albums into iTunes on the Windows XP Machine. Both computers are Authorized under the same iTunes account and both have Home Sharing activated. I can play songs from the MacBook Pro that are on the Windows XP machine. But I cannot select and drag them to either my iPod or my local library. I have heard that you need to transfer the songs from the "shared" machine to the local machine. Also reading many sites you supposedly should have a transfer button on the bottom on the iTunes windows, which I do not. I want to use the shared library to sync music to multiple iPods. Can anyone help me with this? Apple documentation concerning iTunes is very sparse. Thanks, lbsolt |
