keychain certificate problems

i am trying to create a development certificate so i can run app i have made on my ipod. i followed the tutorial at the iphone development program portal but every time i make my certificate it says "This certificate was signed by an unknown authority." which prevents me from putting the app on my ipod. how do i make it so it is signed by a known authroity? |
