Voice to Text

I was driving the other day and received an e-mail that needed immediate attention. Since I was driving I didn't want to type an e-mail and drive so I had to make a stop and take care of it.

It got me thinking, why isn't there an app that I can use that I just talk into and it types what I say in Mail or text message.

Is there an app out there that does this well? I know the technology is there... if it's not there, why doesn't someone who knows how to work these things make one?
