Hi,
Would really appreciate some help. I have a new iMac and need to transfer all my files off my old iBook G4. My iPod when on the new mac desktop shows no files. But, iTunes it has all my songs. I followed all instructions from apples site but get stuck when the iTunes folder does not show when the iPod is on the desktop. Does this make sense to anyone? It's doing my head in argh!!!! Thanks so much |

Your iPod can only be registered to one computer at a time.
I think the easiest way to transfer all your files off of your G4 is to use Migration Assistant. It should allow to select what you want transferred, and it should transfer your iTunes music folder over to the new iMac. Once this is done, open up iTunes to verify that your music library is there. Next, plug in your iPod and register it to the new iMac. Hope this helps. |
