    I have some paid apps which i would like to share with my bro. he is on a touch with a macbook to sync with (running snow leopard). i have a iphone with a macbook of my own to sync with (running leopard).

    You cannot legally share application between two users, each has to purchase their own copy.

    Are apps not the same as the music, they can be registered on the up to 5 computers?

    Not that I know of, an app is tied to a single apple ID, and can be downloaded as many times as you want on any number of computers/iPhones. But it remains linked to a single person/ID.

    You're sort of cheating the developers out of compensation for their efforts to create the applications. I agree with the majority here, you each need to purchase your own apps.
