Sync Notes to Mac

Hello all.

iPhone 3.0 in all its loveliness has been installed to my iPhone 2g

One of the things I was looking forward to was syncing my Notes to the Mac.

I can see the check-box in iTunes and receive no errors when syncing - so here's what might be a really stupid question...

What does it sync with?

What app on my Mac is the new home for my iPhone notes?

It syncs with notes in mail.app

Cheers for the answer. It was my first thought but my notes do not appear in Mail.

I'll be honest here, I've not really used notes in mail before as no real need to do so, so maybe I'm missing a trick.

I click on Note in the title bar and get an empty yellow 'pad'. How would I see the existing notes?

If you look in the side bar you see a reminders bit with a drop down triangle?

Expand the triangle and you should see it expand to to-do and notes.

this was a big disappointment. The notes app in Mail is annoying. Any note I great is copy dozens of times. If I have a note to myself about an hour later I have a hundred copies of that note.
