Hey,

Is the new iPhone update 3.0 available for my iPhone 2G? What I mean is can I update my iPhone 2g to 3.0?

you can download the update from Apple tomorrow, June 17th, as it is listed on their website.

I got a copy of the Gold Master released to the devs for the original iPhone 2G and it works great. You don't get some of the cool guy features, but I love the improved search and the new iPod controls, especially for podcasts and audio-books. I think that all iPhone owners are going to love their new OS.
