Where can I find the the version of iTunes I need?

Hey guys,
My girlfriend bought me an iPod shuffle for my birthday. This is causing me so much headache it's unreal:)

I have a G4 Powerbook that runs on Mac OS X 10.4. The iTunes I have is version 4.9. When I plug the shuffle in, a dialogue box tells me I need iTunes 7.2 or higher. The latest version of iTunes isn't compatible with my system. Does anyone know where I can find a version that does work? I've tried downloading a few different versions of 7.2 to no avail. Where can I find one that will install and work? Any help would be appreciated. She's gonna kill me if I don't use that shuffle! Best,
Ebbi

You need to update OS X to at least 10.4.10. This should happen automatically if you run Software Update from the Apple menu. Otherwise, you can download the combo updater here:

Mac OS X 10.4.10 Combo Update (PPC)

Then go to:

Apple - Download music and more with iTunes. Play it all on iPod.

To get the latest version of iTunes.

Thanks, so far that's been really helpful.

In the iTunes specs, it says I need Quicktime 7.5.5. This will not work on the OS that I just downloaded. Any suggestions? Ta,

Quicktime comes bundled with iTunes, so if the iTunes requirements state 10.4.10, then it shouldn't be a problem.

Quicktime 7.6 which is newer works with 10.4.10.

Just installed the latest iTunes. When I opened it, it said that I need Quicktime 7.3.1. Can I be a pain in the **** and ask for a link to it please? :D
