cant sync my ipod, error (-50)

every time i connect the ipod, the error keeps coming up. i've found solutions to all these types of errors except for error -50... any help?

Are you using a Mac? If not, here is an Apple KB article about that error message and solutions for XP. You may also want to check here for error 50 articles and advice.

We also should get more info. iPod model? iTunes version? Mac/PC specs?

Yes, i got a macbook OS X 10.5, 2 ghz core duo. I got a classic ipod 30gb. iTunes 8.
