I am thinking of getting a touch. I would like to understand how the google maps features works a little better.
So I realize that if I am within a WiFi Signal I can use the program very much like using it on a desktop computer. My question is when I am not within range of a signal. Can I save a map I have created to my itouch and access it when I am not in range of a signal? For example, lets say I am going on vacation and stopping in 3 different cities. If I have created 3 different maps for those 3 different cities that included points of interest and such, would I be able to pull up the different maps and view them? I recognize I couldn't do anything new.....but can I save an old map and than access it without WiFi? Thakns |
