just updated the software on my 3g, no longer jailbroken..

and it sucks. i forgot how lame the phone was before i jailbroke it.

my question is, what do i do now? quickpwn doesnt work with the new software update...

thanks.

Wait until they release a quickpwn for the new software.

Tys 4x4 FTW 02-26-2009 11:43 PM

okay it appears they did, but it messed up my phone.

it wont turn on. is there a way to restore it through the computer? shiittt.

If it won't turn on, no.

okay figured it out. but this quickpwn is being really wierd. i get to the screen where it says it is about to load the quickpwn software on the phone, but then it just stays there for a while. trying it again now though..

well i figured it out. it dealt with having the newest mbp. the version 10.5.6 has a bug in it that stops you from jailbreaking the iphone. had to go back to 10.5.5 just to jailbreak it. what fun.

but now it works, and ive got it customized way better then before.

thanks anyways!

This is why I haven't updated my iPhone's software since updating to 10.5.6. I'm waiting till an easier fix is found before I go through the hassle.

I read some tutorial before if you want to jailbreak you iphone they said you should not update your phone because the software that is use to jailbreak the phone cannot support the update version of the iphone.

its actually pretty easy and straightforward. i suck at computers, and i managed to do it.
