Digg has a great article that shows the number of development gigs available for iPhone App SDK programmers versus Android G1 SDK developers in the open market.

Digg - Android Getting Slaughtered by iPhone

Wow, Apple versus Google head to head and it looks like Apple is beating the cr@p out of Goog in the first round like Manny Pacquiao vs De la Hoya.

Iphone 3g won at the present! due to the UI, and mostly the App store.
However, how long will it last? it's really depending on how would android like.
But cherish your iPhone, it's really worth.

Some things you might want to consider before thinking that the iPhone will end up with more developers than the Android platform will end up having...

1. The iPhone has been out for about 1.5 years, while the first Android based phone has been out for 45 days.

2. The Android marketplace hasn't gone to paid apps yet.

3. Based on those graphs, it looks like there was more developer interest in Android at it's first phone launch than the iPhone at it's launch.

4. Android will end up on many more phones as well as netbooks in the upcoming year.
