I'm a iphone 3G user, currently using firmware 2.0.

I don't know why, after download app from appStore, I can run them perfectly. But if I use iTune 7.7 to sync those apps, the next time I run them on iphone, it exits the second I run it. I then need to delete the app, and redownload it from appStore to make it working again.

What's wrong?

I have almost the mirror image of your problem. I download something, and before syncing the application, it closes within seconds of launching. Haven't yet synced anything.

I just upgraded my "old" iPhone to the new 3G today and I am having the same problem. I synced the new phone and everything came over nicely except for the apps I downloaded. I re-downloaded them onto the new phone and then tried to run them only to have then close instantly as mentioned above. I called the apple store and they were not able to help, and I wasn't going to wait 25 minutes to talk to a "specialist" or whatever they're calling them.

did you get 2.0.2? I'm not totally sure if I'm on the mark with addressing your problem, but there have been bug fixes.

So I did an "Erase all content and settings" which took about an hour. Once it was done I plugged the phone back into iTunes (as the phone requests you to do). Before syncing anything I downloaded the "Remote" app and tried to run it...and it closed instantly! WTF...so I went ahead and synced the phone from the last backup. Ran "Remote" and low and behold it worked! Kind of a pain in the ***, but at least I resolved the problem. Hope this helps anyone. BTW I updated iTunes to 7.7.1 and the iPhone to 2.0.2 before doing the reset.

I just had this problem heres what you have to do.

1) delete all of the applications on your phone/touch
2) delete all of the applications from your computer on itunes
3) sync applications
4) reset ipod (hard reset, hold both buttons past power off, when you see apple logo let go of both buttons)
5) install the ebay application into itunes on your computer
6) sync applications (this will install ebay app from computer to iphone/touch)
7) unplug and run ebay, it should run fine, now go to app store and download and play....

hope this helps!!!!!
