Hi guys,
I've recently bought an iPod Touch but have noticed a severe lack of apps. I want to get more; I've done some research and I see that you can buy the App Store, and buy apps for your iPod/iPhone there. However, I see a lot about jailbreaking. I understand the concept of it I THINK, and understand it voids your warranty. Can someone please explain as to what jailbreaking is/what purpose it serves? Another question- is it possible to make your iPod a remote just like the iPhone; and what service does the remote function serve? Thanks a lot for the help and insight. Jailbreaking requires one to defeat the built-in protection mechanisms that keep the phone from being hacked and as such violates both Apple's End-User Licensing Agreement and the DMCA. In other words, it's illegal - and since we don't discuss illegal activity on this forum, this thread is being closed.
Liquid and computers don't mix. It might seem simple, but we see an incredible amount of people post here about spills. Keep drinks and other liquids away from your expensive electronics! |
