Hello, just got my iPhone 3G today! However, I was installing applications (MySpace, Facebook and a drummer one i thought was quite cool), but now, none of them want to open.

I have them on my home screen, i click on one (say MySpace for example), and it comes up for about 3/4 seconds, then flicks back to the home screen..

Anyone else had this problem? Or anyone know of a fix?

EDIT: I have tried a restart, still nothing. I've tried moving the icons around too, nothing worked. I have also connected it to iTunes.. nothing.

How are you installing the apps? Are you doing it from the App Store on the iPhone or through iTunes?

Try uninstalling the application and installing it again. If that doesn't work, then you might need to restore it.

Myself and others have had the same problem. The best way I've found so far to fix the apps is to 1) back up your iphone in itunes, then disconnect it; 2) delete the apps on your iphone (touch and hold until they shake, then hit the x in the corner); 3) resync your iphone in itunes. It's a pain, but at least it has worked for me.
