Are there any apps that allow the WiFi adapter to act as an access point so you can share the 3G internet connection? I can't seem to find one but it seems like it would be an application that a lot of people have a use for.

I haven't heard of one yet, but I bet something comes out soon, unless of course AT&T decide this doesn't suit their business model.

Yeah, I wasn't sure if that was against some part of their service agreement. I don't think AT&T has gone out of their way to stop the Windows mobile devices from doing it, but then again I don't know what they really could do.

It'll probably be awhile before the contract-less iPhones are available so I got time for something to get developed.

Who did you ask about tethering? Apple or AT&T?
