Restore iPod without iTunes?

Hi

Is there a way to restore an ipod, eg wipe everything, so it is like new, as I have 3 ipods, and all of them cause iTunes to crash in vista, so as soon as I plug them in it just crashes. Any tips, as my boss wants them to take on holiday with some work lectures, and im stuck!

I think you will find in your ipod settings a reset function
