I've got an old (scroll wheel and 4 buttons up top, no color, vintage!) iPod, and I'd love to get it to fill up randomly with all sorts of different music everytime I plug it in. My Mom just got a shuffle and I fell in love with it.

Is there anyway to get a regular iPod to fill up like a shuffle?

I've wondered this myself, but as far as I know (at least without using a 3rd party app) there is no way.
