Ok, so my external harddrive, which contained all of my music crashed and lost all of its data. My iPod Touch is the last copy of a great deal of my music (The rest is gone for good, I guess). However, the headphone jack on my iPod Touch is all messed up and I have to send it into Apple for repair (and presumably they will wipe the disk or send me a new one or something). How can I get my music off of my iPod Touch (Jailbroken 1.1.4)?
QUOTE Thanks

This should help you copy the music back to your Mac. Normally I would recommend Senuti but it does not seem to work with the touch.

Give this a try. It claims to work.

install the BSD subsystem and then install SSH. You will then be able to SSH into the ipod touch. You then will have root file access to the ipod and you can copy anything you want off of it.

installing SSH requires.....read between the lines
