Proxies: Skype and MSN

I just started at a new school that uses a proxy server. I've been able to get firefox to access the internet by entering the proxy address but can't see where I can change these settings for Skype or MSN. I've heard it's possible but I don't see where to do it... Any help would be appreciated!
