I have a MB Pro and a PC running XP Home setup right next to each other and i wanted to connect them directly so i could access the files on both computers forwards and backwards. both computers are in the same work group and i have personal file sharing and windows sharing checked on my mac. i cant see my mac on my pc and i dont really know where to go with this. i also have a crossover cable that i can connect to both computer since i have 2 ethernet ports on my pc and i connect wirelessly with my mac. so it if is easier to just setup a computer to computer connection with that then i could just do that but i cant remember what i need to do to both ethernet ports to get it to work. any suggestions?
QUOTE Thanks

Right click My Computer

Select Map Network drive

Browse to the Mac Share through My Network Places

Where it says use other credentials in the Mapping windows, supply the Mac users User and Pass. Most likely represented and Computername\username
and pass.

Choose a letter of your choice for a network drive.
