OS 10.3 - Internet Connection

We have contacted the ISP and they have said the modem is online when they ran a check and the modem is showing as connected in Internet Connect. We have tried everything we can think of to do with PPOE and other settings but it is still not opening web pages or fetching mail. Apple suggested backing up data and reconfiguring the machine, there doesnt seem to be much information on how to do this either. Any tips on trouble shooting the problem or reconfiguring the machine would be appreciated. Cheers |
