I have a powerbook G4 usual upgrades. my problem has been when I go to "wifi" spots I could not connect, so I figured its was the 802.11b wireless and maybe some other issues. So I started looking for a wireless (g) card, and the only 2 I found on the net were the "Sonnet, and the Edimax "card both over $60, then I found a "new power" card Now I found another card, from Hawkings.... works great, with native drivers my local Fry's electronics had about 6 of these on the shelf I think they were reconditioned, but the price is only $29 Fry's Electronics in Manhatten Beach, Cal.. Maybe someone can suggest how to image my currrent HD to a new one I just bought? I bought it at fry's also, an 80gig for $59 5400 rpm, 8mb cache, 12msec seek time No i'm not doing a commercial for Fry's Best sanddoc@gmail.com |
